Guided Core Classes

Our energized group classesare all 50 minutes. We use a variety of state-of-the-art Balanced Body equipment, which is designed to strengthen and stretch your body in healthy, rejuvenating ways. 

If you are new to using Pilates equipment, we suggest that you take a couple align classes or Core Private sessions before you jump into other more advanced classes.

In our small classes, you will be motivated by the group’s collective energy as well as by the individual attention provided by your instructor. We keep our classes limited to six people to ensure every client is seen, heard and assisted.

Align

Approachable and Essential

This is an approachable all-levels workout that focuses on the core Pilates principles. This energized full body workout focuses on strength and proper alignment. It is an excellent option for those new to the studio or for those interested in delving deeper into the fundamentals of optimal movement. You can expect challenging and detailed work with extra form correction and explanations.

Control

Intermediate and Focused

This workout highlights control and precision of movement. Using a deliberate pace and continuous tension, we focus on getting the proper muscles to fire during every exercise. Challenge your slow-twitch muscle fibres while building your technique in this intense and form-focused class. We want you to find centering, control and concentration during every class.

Power

Athletic and Challenging

This vigorous workout challenges the body and mind,and focuses on full body strength, stability and balance. The class will challenge your entire body, and get your heart pumping and legs quivering in an energetic yet playful way. Build strength and endurance while toning your body using sports-inspired movements. We use the reformer in ways you’ve never seen before to make this workout sweaty, challenging and effective! 

We require that you’ve attended at least 10 classes before trying power.

 

Cardio

Active and Sweaty

This is a heart-pumping, leg-burning, core-centred class for those who love to move and get some endorphin-releasing cardio on!  Using the Pilates jumpboard on the reformer as the primary apparatus, this interval class provides an aerobic workout that is kind to your joints while also burning raising your heart rate.

Chair & Tower

Intermediate and Focused

This form-focused class that pivots between the Pilates chair and the Pilates tower. We love all the variations, balance challenges and the deepest end stretches.

Circuit

Fun and Dynamic

This fun and dynamic 60-minute class uses reformer, tower and chair as you move through exercises on each piece of equipment. A demo of all exercises will start off the class and you will move through two rounds of the circuit with a cool down to finish the class. 

You must take 5 classes in studio before taking circuit. This is to ensure your comfort on the equipment and your safety. This class is not for pre-natal or anyone with an injury that requires special attention.
